We had a little girls night out at the Cardinals game with our dear friends, Laurabeth and her daughter C, at the end of April. It was M's first "real" game and she was thrilled! She couldn't get over how many people there were, all the lights, and the fun food...poor her though...I refused to pay $8 for cotton candy. She did get a big soft pretzel and we brought along plenty of dum-dums for extra treats. The girls favorite part was definitely the cheering...I'm sure those around us enjoyed the high shrieks of the 5 and 6 year old girls! The girls did watch some of the game but we only lasted about 2 innings. My favorite part was getting to see Ken Griffey, Jr. play...and of course, Pujols. Maybe the next time we'll get to watch 3 or 4 innings :)
